Photographs of our work
The before-and-after photographs show jobs we actually carried out. They are published with the customer’s agreement, without naming them, and located no more precisely than the commune. If one of these photographs shows your home and you would rather it came down, write to us and it will be removed.
What this site tells you, and what it does not
We keep these pages up to date and check what we put on them. Even so, the service descriptions, the journal articles and the equipment shown are general information – not an assessment of your chimney, your roof or your installation. Only a visit can give you that.
Nothing on this site is a quotation, a price commitment or a booking. Prices, ranges and lead times change without notice. What binds us is what we send you in writing, and what we confirm with you by telephone or by email.
Booking a slot through the site is a request, not a confirmed appointment: we come back to you to agree it, usually the same day.
Availability and external links
We do our best to keep the site reachable, but we cannot promise it. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, or by a failure we do not control – hosting, network or power. If the site is down, the telephone lines are not: they are the way to reach us in an emergency.
Some pages link out to sites we do not run: manufacturers, our Google listing, public bodies. We have no say in what they publish or in how they handle your data, and we take no responsibility for either.

If something goes wrong
If you are unhappy with something we have done, write to info@backes-ramoneur.lu or call us. We answer every complaint, and most things are settled in a conversation.
If we cannot settle it between us, you may, as a consumer, take the matter free of charge to the Luxembourg consumer ombudsman – the Service national du Médiateur de la consommation (mediateurconsommation.lu). Doing so does not stop you going to court.
Applicable law
This site and this notice are governed by Luxembourg law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably falls to the courts of Luxembourg – without affecting your right, as a consumer, to bring proceedings where you live.
