Camera inspection is an inspection technique in which a special camera is inserted into the chimney to visually check its condition. This method makes it possible to inspect the chimney for damage, cracks, blockages or soiling without the need for a costly opening of the chimney.
Procedure:
A flexible camera is guided through the flue gas pipe.
This allows us to inspect the entire pipe right up to the upper section in order to reach even hard-to-access areas.
The image from the camera is transmitted live to a monitor so that all conspicuous areas in the chimney can be recognised immediately.
The inspection can help to identify problems such as cracks, deposits of soot, moisture and other damage that could impair the function and safety of the flue gas system.
Advantages:
Precision:
Problems can be precisely localised and evaluated.
Safety:
No dangerous work is required, such as manually tapping or opening the chimney.
Efficiency:
The inspection is quick and leaves no damage behind.
Documentation:
A visual record provides a traceable basis for repairs or maintenance.
